When i first started out in business i knew that my client's time was the most valuable thing they had. Moreover, I quickly realised my time with them would be short and i needed to be able to present my case with clarity and confidence. I needed to be engaging from the start. You see people will judge you within seconds, and if they believe you are boring, not for them or don’t resonate with your message, then it will be a lot harder to win them over later, you know that first impressions count right?To do this i needed to learn to present myself better than the next, with authority and with confidence. i read books and watched lots of online video content, with little or no improvement, my confidence and presentations skill was still only average, and i felt uncomfortable in many situations.One day online i stumbled upon a chap called Andy. I scanned his website with interest and with some scepticism, after all I am a Yorkshireman! Could he be that good? was it all a front? after some checking around and talking to Andy i booked myself on one of his training sessions. WOW!!! from the get-go i was hooked, Andy took me under his wing like some mystic guru, with a young Padawan. During the following months, i attended Andy's catching sessions, watched and read edgily the online training materials, learning about how to improve presentation my skills. How to create an engaging opening to a presentation and how to improve the likelihood of agreement during your presentation. Whatever it was, I knew I needed to further develop my presentation skills and master what I’d started to learn.

At first, I wasn’t very good though knew that these would be powerful skills to master, so I became a member of the Professional Speakers Academy and within the year became an award-winning international speaker, speaking across Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and in the US.
